I investigated a local networking group called EatWorkPlay CLT for its pattern of hosting charity events without ever making charitable donations. I’ve done several follow ups on my initial story — in both Charlotte magazine and my subsequent publication, Charlotte Agenda/Axios Charlotte. My reporting led to an FBI investigation.
